Introduction
to Learning Styles.
What's Your Learning Style?
The VARK Questionnaire: How Do I Learn Best?
This questionnaire aims
to find out something about your preferences for the way you work with information.
You will have a preferred learning style and one part of that learning style
is your preference for the intake and output of ideas and information. Complete the questionnaire by
choosing the answer which best explains your preference and click on the box
next to the letter. Please select more than one response if a single answer
does not match your perception. >Leave blank any question
which does not apply. After you receive your score, this web site provides you
with strategies to match your learning styles. VARK stands for V: Visual; A:
Aural; R: Read/Write; K: Kinesthetic. There is also a Multimodal preference.
Your students can benefit enormously from knowing how they learn and how they
can enhance their learning. I highly recommend this site as a tool for you to
use in class--early ion the semester!
