Introduction to Horticulture- An overview of the science of horticulture, covering diverse topics including basic plant biology, disease and pest man- agement, propagation and breeding, soil, water and nutrient requirements, climatic considerations, and identification of selected plants. May require class meetings at off-campus sites.
