Applied Entomology- A general study of insect diversity, classification, anatomy and physiology, and ecology. Special emphasis on plant-insect interactions, agriculturally important insects, pest control methods, and integrated pest management. Class will require some outdoor study (both during class and independently), including preparation of an insect collection. May occasionally require class meetings at off-campus sites.
