Matt Ritter, Graduate Digital Video Production When I first arrived at LCCC, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I decided to take Liberal Arts classes and go from there. Then, in my second semester, I decided to take single camera production. I loved it so much that I decided to change my major, and I knew what career I wanted to pursue in my life. The program is great because you get lots of hands-on time with advanced equipment that professionals use in the real world, including Panasonic DVX100 cameras and Avid editing software. The instructors are great and have lots of advice from working within the world of digital video and audio for years. This is an excellent degree program that will set a student off in the right direction in the digital video or audio field. Mark Wentz, Digital Audio/ Video Production student LCCC makes learning fun. The instructors are very knowledgeable in their respective fields, and you can't beat the hands-on experience. Jason Sander, graduate, Digital Audio Production A.A.S. In my first semester, I joined WXLV as a DJ and a promotions director. But I knew deep down my passion for music would not be satisfied until I was working directly with audio. I was overjoyed to hear about the new Digital Media programs! Many universities don't have such an industry-specialized degree program. I also took part in the Walt Disney World internship program. I made life long friends and contacts from around the world. LCCC has given me a foundation of production skills that I will use the rest of my career- from recording bands to producing TV news shows. LCCC has given me a glimpse of what to expect in the industry. I definitely recommend LCCC to anyone considering a career in Digital Media. |
Gregory Brown, Digital Audio Production Major This was one of the best experiences of my life. I learned so much in what I feel was such a small amount of time. I wished that the classes would have lasted longer, because I had so much fun working with ProTools and in the new studio. My professors were some of the best during all of my schooling years. They were all very knowledgeable and willing to help when I needed. I feel extremely confident going into the work force with the knowledge I have leaving this program. Jon Sherman, graduate Digital Video Production, Summer 2006 LCCC's Digital Video Production program is truly a hands-on learning experience. With the staff's knowledge and latest equipment used in the industry, this program can compete with any college. |
